This is my mom’s favourite dish to bring to a potluck – it always turns out amazingly
2 sui choy chopped into slivers
(or however many you think you need. Sometimes they are huge, sometimes really small!)Some green onions chopped.
Mix and cover
¼ cup of butter (the recipe actually calls for ½ cup, but I think even the ¼ is too much. I always go easy…)
2 pkg of Mr, Noodles – crush them in the package before you open it
½ cup of sesame seeds
1 cup slivered almonds
Melt the butter and add the next 3 ingredients. Stir constantly over low – med heat until nicely browned.
Dump out onto a paper towel to cool.
1 tsp soya sauce
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup white vinegar
½ cup olive oil
Toss the sui choy mix and the noodle mix together and add the dressing just before serving. ENJOY : )
